James Barnett Sr. OD

Dr. James Barnett, Sr. was born in Graceville, MN and raised in Sioux Falls, SD. An O’Gorman High School graduate, Dr. Barnett studied biology at the Universtiy of South Dakota before attending the Illinois College of Optometry and graduating Cum Laude.

Dr. Barnett has served as the President of the South Dakota Optometric Society. Professional affiliations include the American Optometric Association and the South Dakota Optometric Society.

In his free time he enjoys being outdoors, working on the family farm and spending time with his wife, Laura, and family.
